San Francisco Pride, June 26 and 27
San Francisco Pride is one of the largest Pride celebrations in the world. In 2027 it runs June 26 and 27, with the parade along Market Street on Sunday and a celebration at Civic Center. The Castro is busy all weekend. Our Pride guide covers viewing spots and transit.
Stern Grove Festival
The Stern Grove Festival puts on free Sunday afternoon concerts in a eucalyptus-lined amphitheater in the Sunset District. The 2026 season ran from June 14 to August 16. The 2027 lineup had not been announced when we published this. Free tickets are handed out through an online lottery, so sign up early. Bring a blanket and a warm layer.
Juneteenth in the Fillmore
The Fillmore District holds a free annual Juneteenth celebration with music, food and community booths on Fillmore Street. In 2026 it was on June 13. Watch local listings for the 2027 date.
